Embrace Winter! - Step out in style!

This week temperatures have dropped right across Australia so get over that attachment to your favourite moth bitten beanie, thread bare cardigan and out-dated slacks.
It's time for uggies and hoodies - it's time to embrace winter! Start slow if you like - even start inside - start with a little online shopping or alot!
Then step out in-style... in a pair of hot new boots and a fabulous new coat. Ta dah! Be gone Winter blues!
If there is one thing I learned from my recent year 'embracing' a Canadian winter - you never feel cold if you are dressed right! It's all about a great jacket and the perfect scarf thereby defeating the dreaded 'wind-chill' factor!
No! You will not be paying off your credit card all summer long. Remember my motto - never pay full-price - well, never say never - some perfect cut jeans are just too hard to resist I agree... but no excuses because something is always on sale at all our online boutiques. The best excuse to shop all year... Mother's Day at last!
Daughters of the world - you can't really go wrong when you are spending money on mum so go for it!
Better still, if you are a mother too (and the kids are young enough to need some help choosing the 'perfect' gift) - you get to pick out a couple of things for yourself at the same time - one per child for sure :)
Online shopping was surely invented for mum's who can't get out with 3 kids in tow... If they are anything like mine, one of three things will happen every time I try to step into the dressing rooms:
a) they pull open the curtain to check what's taking so long at a very inappropriate moment!
b) they disappear out the shop door heading for the pet store or ice cream shop they spotted!
c) I hear the dismayed assistant say in a strained voice "are those hands sticky?"
Either way, other shoppers get an unwanted fashion parade starring my not so yummy mummy underwear as I try to rein in the situation...
